They use these engraving plates to apply information to their equipment. For example, to name the function of a button.
As a serial builder, they need the same stickers every time. The easiest way is to make one sheet with a multiple of one sticker. But that would mean that in order to label one machine, they would have to have dozens of sheets on hand. That’s very time-consuming.
That is why we sort out the engraving stickers per machine. That was not an explicit question from them, but a proposal from us. One sheet is one machine at a time. That works faster and the margin of error is a lot lower.
For the glue we worked together with specialist 3M. The stickers must be suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. And since they are used in the chemical sector, they must also be resistant to chemical substances.
